I was just looking at the tech specs on the Ipod touch. No bluetooth.
If it had bluetooth it would make a nice farm data device. Cattle ear tag readers often have bluetooth. I could then write an app that listens to the ear tag reader and brings up the data on the animal scanned. That would make it a farm expense...
