There is an ifs hub conversion you can do to the minis, gives you a little more width at the wms iirc, but what you're looking for is the knuckles so the ifs stuff won't help you like Cacy said.
What's different about the cruiser knuckles vs. the minis that you want?
I haven't wheeled with you so I don't know what you like to do but you may be trading one weak link for another. The j-arm on mini steering is not very ideal for what we do unless you have the stock torque rod, but that itself limits articulation. I could imagine a heavier rig putting a lot of stress on those little things.
