You might consider trying a Wheel Skins cover. Wheelskins - The World's Finest Genuine Leather Motoring Accessories, Steering Wheel Covers, Driving Gloves and Shift Boots

The cover on my OEM steering wheel was feeling a bit loose and squishy as a poster above described it. The Wheel Skins cover tightened it right up and has been very durable. It has a nice look and feel to it.
