Question WTF? Is it normal to have 2F clutch/flywheel on F motor?

Just pulled my tranny out today, turns out I have a 2F flywheel/clutch/pressure plate on my '70 running a 3spd. Is this normal? if so, what is the advantage that would have made the PO do this?

Normal?

Guess I would not say that it is normal...

Believable is more like it.

Yep, one of your PO's needed a clutch and got the 2F stuff for free or cheap. No big deal really, although I hear that the F flywheel is a little heavier which could give an almost undetectable advantage at low RPM.

As long as it works I wouldn't go to the trouble of changing it back.
