1979-80 floor mats?

Has any one seen these? I'm doing resto on my '80 and maybe these might be something nice. I am going to buy the front mat; but what the heck are these?

Unless you're talking about all the sun visors I wouldn't worry bout it, says they're not available through SOR.

I have seen some pretty sweet pads in the back of later model ones, never sure if they were OEM though.

1979-80 floor mats?

Actually; it seems to be floor mats like this:

Item #43

140-43B-L-U
U LH RR MAT-1/79-10/82 LHRR USED

Here is the full stupid link to the pic for the mat...

I'm just curious what these are and if anyone has seen them. I know what the front mat looks like; I dumped mine in 1986 [no brains here], know i'm trying to rebuild to stock.

Hey all, my Aus spec 82' BJ42 has those mats. They clip onto the main floor mat, under the seats, (sort of round the seat mounts). They dont really do much except to cover the fuel tank hump.

swifty;

Thanx;

U know, when first bought my great '80 FJ40. it had all these floor pads; which I, in my stupid wisdom, trashed. God, what an idiot I am.

Anyway, I will pursue the upgrade to stock FJ-40 specs. The engine and control systems are stock; except for a couple of minor vacuum hoses that I plugged. One only needs to plug two hoses to reduce yuky polution control. The carb has not been touched or washed since 1986.

Ignition is not stock, but easy to return to stock.

Paint & body job is only $5000.00, so outside looks is quite nice. All new OME suspension helps the road bumps. Anyway, it will be up for sale soon; the new FJCRUISER will be its replacement.

Thx agn for reminding where this padding showed up, as I approach 70 earth years, memory seems to not work like it should.
