pics too small and i can't see what the heck's happening, but i don't like red cruisers...i tend to get tense driving them. don't know if it's the color or what, but a friend, who also gets tense driving red cruisers, pointed it out to me and now, when i drive one (not often, thank god), i'll kind of think about it part way through and i'll find i'm grabbing the wheel a bit tighter and clenching my teeth a bit.

Wow. And here I thought I was the only one who had a red Cruiser neurosis. They're nice to look at, but something about being inside of them . . .

Not a player, just an NHL fan from back in the Rocky Hockey
days.

wash it off

The only thing I have noticed after painting mine red (it was dark green) is more jeeps seem to wave at me. It draws a whole lot more attention in general. But I feel just fine driving it.

I like red cruisers as long as they arnt mine. They are like nephews and neises (sp?). They are fun to have around for a little while but after a while you just want their parents to take them home.

What could possibly be better than red except maybe mustard? If I wanted brown, I'd wheel a UPS truck!

don't like red
like: Mustard yellow, olive brown, tan, and pumpkin orange. you know, the cool colors that went with the appliances of that era?
My mom still has a "harvest gold" GE stove.....reminds me of my cruiser.....
cheers,
ragman

i really like the smurf blue, but i wouldn't own one. horizon blue...that's cool, multicolor is the coolest. tan/beige is good.

Red wasn't my first choice, but I have to say it IS growing on me. Mine is going in the shop for a repaint and it's going to stay FREEBORN RED. Plus by doing that it gives me an excuse to buy another cruiser in a different color.

Never cared what color it was as long as it was a cruiser!
Ended up with a great 40 in Freeborn Red that just happens to look beautiful next to a West Texas sunset!
Wouldn't have it any other way.

well,
cruisers are like dogs, and people, etc. can't really judge them on their color alone. IMO, some red cruisers look shitty, while others are pretty nice. can't argue with Poser's rig
for stock, mustard yellow or olive brown
there's a damn nice dark green 40 running around town here (need to carry my camera with me more). a nice red one or two too, but i prefer orange over red
then again, depends on the individual cruiser.

My '71 40 is red, stock, the wife likes it so it'll probably stay red. The nicest I've ever seen was one painted desert camo with clearcoat. It was sweet.

Red FJ40 -> camoflage, and mine was a lovely baby blue but now forest green. Red looks sweet, and great for attention grabbing, but also more expensive on insurance...
