"we got bogged" pics

got bogged real good tonight, me and my flatmate went out to Anglesea, found a bit of a bog hole and thought, "yeah i'll put the front tyres in"

might not look that deep but the wet wet mud was knee height on the left hand side and the diff bottomed out

we tried for about 2 hours, hi-lifting and putting shit under the wheels to no provail, in the end we swallowed our ego's and rang our mate to snatch us out

i got more pics coming from my mates phone so i might post them, maybe with some better angles

Wow. Stuck. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why we are a part of IH8MUD... for those express reasons. I was in a similar situation and will not go mudding because of it. I hope you have your axle breathers extended, might wanna take a look at that if it was submerged.

no breather extensions, so tommorow i am going to open up the drums and clean em out and open the diffs clean them out, and i wrecked a front bearing so i'll repack that.

i want to get it done by sat arvo cause i'm going again sunday cause its gonna rain

btw on the way home my brakes were hardly working and i launched out onto a large country road intersection and by the time i realised i supose to give way i had already crossed the two lanes, lucky there were no bloody trucks or i would've have been stuffed
