2f valve cover gasket

Anybody got a trick for installing the valve cover with a new gasket? I tried for about an hour to install my valve cover last night and failed miserably. Its a new gasket and I hate to use RTV to glue it in place. Super glue maybe, just enough to hold it?

I use just enough rtv to keep it in place. Otherwise she's a bitch to install.

i've always used superglue with gaskets like that and have had no problems. Use as little as you can get away with.
(just in case- glue gasket to cover not motor)

Put the gasket in place under the cover, place it on a flat surface - gasket side down and put something heavy on the cover itself. Leave it overnight - the gasket will conform to the cover enough not to fall out when you go to install it. YMMV
