different % of SM420 to 3 speed t-case to an Orion with a 3 speed tranny

Can someone help me figure out the lower gear ratio percentage between an SM420 7.1 first gear with a 3 speed t-case to that of an orion to the 3 speed tranny.

Is SM420 with a 3 speed t-case around 60:1 and the Orion with 3 speed tranny around 58:1?

I have to be way off becasue those are too close to really worry about.

What's the 3 speed case low range? 2.31?
sm420 7.05x2.31x4.11=66.93:1
I dont' know the 3 speed 1st gear. Just multiply it out.

I've been using this page to play around with different combos: Gear Ratio Calculator

You can also just leave the choices at "enter your own numbers" and just punch in what you want. Found a few ratios wrong in there so you may want to double check what you want, but the outputs are pretty neat, and lets you compare two drivetrains pretty easily.

Don't worry. It is not math; it is only 6th grade arithmetic. Even English teachers can do it. I'm going to start watching your spelling now.

Great . . . now I need to pay attention to my spelling and other annoying mechanics on the board. Problem is, people think English teachers speak in an almost foreign language all the time. Nope. It is like the difference between speaking to a person of respect and speaking to friends. The person of respect gets a certain level of elocution (the proverbial stick in the bum) and the friends another (sloppy and relaxed without worrying about judgment). The board is that way; I treat it as if I am speaking to friends and do not really pay attention to the unambiguous phraseology of my pedagogical considerations.
