Aussie Locker in front axle - REAL TIME HELP
I already installed my Aussie in the rear of my 76' and am now starting on installing one in the front axle.
My first question though is: since I have a Marlin tack on my front axle shafts, how far do I need to break down the front axles IOT slide the shafts out and remove the third member? Do I still have to completely tear the front apart like when I did my FDB conversion or is it simpler with the Marlin tack?
Thanks!

the mar tack allows you to pull it all apart at the knuckle so you can quickly swap a birf since no clips are holding it in anymore it will slide out of the hub, and all the bearings can go untouched.
so since you have this done if it were me id just pull it apart at the knuckle and slide the inner / birf out enough to drop the third.

There is enough variation in the length of the side gear splines of the locker and the OEM that the placement of the Martack may be different. This is worth checking before you get it all buttoned up. you don't want the Martack to be so close to the end of the shaft that you can't get the knuckle reassembled.
