Underbody storage or drop box ideas: What have you seen or installed? Have any pics?
I really like the Aqualu underbody storage idea, pictured below. Have you seen anything different or come up with another solution for underbody or undercarriage storage and access paneling?

I have no pic to offer, but when i have my new floorboards cut (just plate steel as opposed to paying top dollar for a replica) I'm putting in a 6X12X10" box under the pan in front of each the driver's and passenger's seats, for stashing valuables out of sight.
I like the aqualu drop box, but I'm putting in a rear aux tank where it'll sit, so I'm considering making a side-facing box of similar dimensions in the driver's side bed next to the fender. Altogether, about the size of a backpack for stowing gear.
there just isn't a whole lot of space on a 40's underbelly for stuff like that.

I built one for my 40 - directly behind the passenger seat. My tub was wasted and I've got a NWMP aux tank in back so I thought it would be a good place to stash some junk. Need to get the lid latch finished but for a low cost ghetto fab idea it has been pretty useful.

Looks nice but I have to hose the mud/sand/etc out of my tub on a regular basis and I bet water would just pour into that setup. If you are in a dry climate maybe not that big of a deal though (I'm in soggy pacific nw).
