I am looking for Toyota turbo diesel engines that will fit inside my FJ40. I was just wondering if the 4-speed on the 2F will slide into the 1HD-T, 12H-T, or 2H? Also, will any of them easily run off of corn oil, also will they easily last a long time?

Not sure if it will. I'm not 100% but I thought the splines were the same for a H series as a 2F but I think there was some difference in shaft length. Any Toyota Diesel you purchase will last a long time but why use your 4 speed when for the work and expense you can put in a 5 speed. You often can get the best deals with a diesel engine attached to the 5 speed and xfer. This can also open the door for other options like the 13bt turbo diesel although not as much power as the 12ht it is much more affordable and easier to get parts for.
