Jeep Cherokee steering column
I have been looking for a few days and cannot find the answers to my questions.
First of all I would like to see up close pictures of the way people mounted it under the dash and how it works with the wiring mounted to the tilt steering.
second, I would like to see a few pictures of the engine bay side and how people are mounting the box from a toyota truck.
And third, I am no good at wiring, but if someone has a cherokee specific wiring diagram I would appreciate it.
thanks for the help in advance.

Go to your local library and find a repair manual that covers the donor vehicle and get a copy of the wiring diagram. This will help you decide which wire goes to what function. Sometimes the wiring diagrams can also be found more readily online using their computer database system.

This might help: http://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series...lt-column.html
Not that a search would have found it.
Good luck,
Jeff

Ask away, I'll do my best to describe what I did.

I have two sets of wires that both say in the wiring diagram that they are for the turn sugnals. I don't understand how they are getting power to them and if the two are connected to each other or how they are run if they are seperate. I am putting it in a 1972 fj40.
thanks

Ok, I went and tried to improve my earlier post with a better diagram. Hope it helps, if not, ask some more questions so I can make it better.
