| Can anybody ID this? Ordered this used radiator fan shroud from SOR back in May, finally got around to installing it and it's all wrong.
Bolts in fine, but there is no way it will align with the fan on my 73 F motor. Motor, radiator and water pump are all stock.
Since I expect no compensation from SOR, I was wondering if anybody could identify this so I could get it to somebody that can actually use it. It is stamped with the number 47030.

| guessing the same(b series diesel). way to intricate stampings to be aftermarket. Tell marv to take that shit back. his order/customer service idiots that work the phones cant continue making mistakes...
that is CLEARLY not an F motor fan, even though the part number is for a 68-74 F motor.
best of luck, their customer service SUCKS.

| Specter Off-Road Land Cruiser Parts - Search On 054-07
says that 054-07A-U is: "USED FAN SHROUD-1965-1968 FJ40"
looks like you should have gotten 054-07B-U "USED FAN SHROUD-1968-12/74 FJ40" for your 73... but they don't have one

| i had the same problem ... so i added a mounting strip to each hole on the sides, and offset the fan hole to match the fan.
looks a bit funny, but did the job. plus i was in a hurry to get out of the garage. so necessity is the mom of invention.

| Definitely not a B or 3B shroud - way too thin to be for a 4 banger. Its gotta be for the wrong year of F/2F, or for an H/2H. |

| It's definitely mis-tagged. I haven't heard from Spector yet.
But I did find this:
SHROUD SUB-ASSY, FAN 16711-47030 HJ45
Appears they sent me a Diesel shroud fron an H motor. Thank you Toyodiy.com.

| Well, a tech guy at SOR named Paul admitted it was a mistake and they're shipping out the real one. I've heard some horror stories about Specter, but unless they screw this up again, I'd have to say the service has been great. 12 hour response time on an error that occurred the middle of May, no run around.
I guess it helps it was their fault.
So...can I just remove the fan and slide the shroud in? Then how do I reattach the fan, reach through the blades? PTO winch makes it hard to tilt radiator forward.

| Yes, and I assume you do not have a fan clutch, you may have to remove your Top Rad hose should be able to wiggle it in.
