| Powersteering Conversion Done - Just Wanted to Say Thank You I had finished the P.S. conversion last weekend, but didn't have enough coolant to refill the radiator. Picked up some yesterday and topped it off. The truck had sat since August while I started the conversion, and with a little coaxing it started right up.
A quick run around the block and I have quickly fell in love with my powersteering. While I am still looking for any missing leaks, I think everything has gone well.
I'd like to thank the members of this board who have attributed to my success...
And special thanks and kudos to William Dorry for both the gearbox bracket and p.s. pump bracket - definitely plug and play right out of the box.
Now on to the next upgrade...?????

| WTG. Seems like everyone agrees that PS is the best single mod for a cruiser. I used Bill's schtuff, too and found him to be more than helpful and a damn nice guy.
I don't remember if I was a contributor or not. Anyway, you're welcome! Now you can be an expert on PS. That's kinda how it works with us amateurs.

Hey Steve,
I got the springs/shocks/bushings done and as soon as I get the rotors machined, will have the RDB deal done. Thanks again.

| Mr. Dorry gets a lot of biz off Mud - it'd be nice if he could cough up for a silver star...
That would be me, the pot, calling Mr. Dorry, the kettle, black... |

| I still have some small things to work on, not to mention the 5" of snow covering the truck, before I'll get any pictures taken. Things isn't that much difference from Dorry's site though.
My wife is insisting that I do something about the tires and wheels. She has given me carte blanche to remedy this so I am working on finding some wheels to help give the truck some machismo.
