FJ40 Wiring issue

I have a 75 FJ40 that has sat for some time and I am trying to get it started again. Couple of wires I have questions about.

A red wire coming off the distributor that is cut off, what is it for? See pic below. Also a white with a black stripe wire that comes out of the loom along the passenger fender by the coil that is frayed and gone, sorry pic is blurry. Then another one white with black stripe thats grounded in front of the coil. I am assuming they go together? One other black wire that has a small capacitor or something on it and is cut off as well. See last pic that has the grounded white/black and black wire with capacitor or something that just ends. Just wondering where these go and if they are necessary, the wiring schematics seem a little confusing to me.

The Green wire plug in the corner of the last pic is for my signal which is giving me trouble but I suspect a bad ground somewhere.

The red wire is the wire from the points to the ignitor.
White with black stripe is a ground wire. One of the few, but I can't see where the other end connects to.
The capacitor (condensor) is for radio frequency interferance suppression and connects to the + side of the coil.

Thanks for the help Pinhead, although I am still not getting a spark. I attached the distributor wire and replaced the frayed ground wire. I checked for spark at the plugs then the wire going from the coil to the cap-nothing. I do have 12 volts at the + of the coil. Here is a couple more pics of the ignition I have. Am I missing something or what else can I try to troubleshoot? How can I confirm coil and ignitor are not the problem? I have spares of those but are from 80's FJ40 with the green plugs.

Any input is appreciated so I can finally get this SOB purring.

It appears to be wired correctly. Points OK? What is the voltage on the - side of the coil? Does it vary from 9V to 0V during cranking?

Does it make a spark when you manually ground the distributor wire? When you ground the - side of the coil?

When I put the + lead for my voltmeter on the -coil and - lead of voltmeter on - battery, I read 12.5 Volts steady.

I do get a spark when I ground the - coil.

I disconnected the bullet connector leading to the distributor in my picture and grounded the end coming from the ignitor and there was no spark but something made a slight noise.

What do you think????
