so you guys diggin on this color? ( tropical coral red t333 )

It would look less shiny than that pic, as i t would be acrylic enamel and not poly.

I might need to have them test shoot a fender and see what it looks like on the truck...

you like the color?

I am digging it a lot to be honest, but my wife is giving me the "meh" look.
I might just have to play the trump card on this one hehe.

One more vote for the original coral red...
Can't beat the vintage feel.

Stay stock Destin.

I would also stay stock, but mine was an off white, and my daughter wants Horizontal Blue instead...she is not fond of the off white

Horizontal Blue may not be the rigs original color, but still original for a '64, so I'm OK with it if we go that way

How's it going with those seats Shane?

Yeah, it is super tough, but yeah I think you and everyone else is right, stock tropical coral red is the way to go

Tough part is gonna be taking this thing all apart to deliver to the body paint guys Well, the tub at least, everything else is gonna be pretty easy

If you don't want to stay with the factory red paint, how about zebra striping it like Hatari? I'm tempted to do that should the day ever come that I need to repaint mine.

Yeah, I wasn't really thinking of that. Where I live you could go for years without the rust progressing. That FST was a great find and I like the fact that you're keeping the stock appearance. Are you going to put an Ehsan Paki Soft top on it?

I'd have to go with the original color......period....

Otherwise I'd have to go with cream white.......Mine is much more cream colored than white and I like it......It almost sparkles in the sun.....

Heres yet another shameless picture post opportunity.....

Cool deal. Alex is a great guy to deal with, I wish he had been up and running when I ordered mine. What color/material did you order?

Great choice, I think it will look very good with the red. I have a picture saved of that combo somewhere. It was the reason I ordere the olive for mine. Here's my shameless self-plug... That just doesn't sound right.

Here's your combo. I don't remember whose it is but he's here on MUD.

Here's mine. I didn't stick with the stock color (Spring Green) because I really didn't care for it. I went with Dune Beige 416.
