Ed | I have 3 more firm orders for strap tops - $57 shipped which includes footman loops....Black, Natural, or OD Green
I delivered 2 today at our club get together.....
Treating the canvas is certainly a good idea....JohnnyC has the canvas maintenance covered wonderfully..... http://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series...soft-tops.html
I really don't care to make any more strapless tops.....
The way I worked the taper on the strap top pulls the canvas really evenly and as tight as a drum..... |

Ed | for water proofing if you really need to and your gonna get into rain with a bikini top i would recomend nikwax, im pretty sure they have a canvas application, and i use it on all of my backpacking stuff, my tent, my backpack, my boots, etc...
those are awesome tops, id buy one if i had a truck. lol

| That is one sick looking fj. Love the color and the top. Wish mine was looking like that but alas it is not and probably never will. But she still runs like a champ. |

| I saw your Ebay listing for the bikini top and just wanted to say Good Luck with your endeavor! Looks like a great product and your price is most reasonable. I love that entrepeneurial spirit. I'm in the middle of painting my cruiser right now but hope to be ordering one from you in the next few weeks.
Ed
P.S. - You know, if this goes really well for you maybe you should think about going after the holy grail - factory style canvas soft tops! I've seen a lot of talk but no one here in the USA seems up to the challenge of making 'em. |

I will however make a strap top for you if you'd like one.....$57 shipped....
Here's how to buy: Canvas Bikini Top
Edit: I can make it custom or family size as well... |

| Made one in white.....crisp white.....someone wanted one.....
made an extra so I could throw in some screen fabric just to see what it was like......
havent driven it enough to know yet.....Not sure how long the white would stay white but it gave off a cool glow under the canvas......... |
