I had the steering aligned at an alignment shop and can no longer hit the bump stops in a right hand turn. Is it possible the arms were swapped versus taking the steering link off and properly aligning the steering wheel from the steering box? How can I tell and what is my next step to fix?

I forgot to add they replaced the tie rod ends so there is a potential for a switch...

You sure they didn't adjust the bumpstop?

Not possible to swap stock steering arms. The arms would then be poking the sides of the tires. Take it back to the shop and point out you cannot turn all the way to one side and have them try again.

Not possible to swap stock steering arms. The arms would be pointing at each other or towards the center of the vehicle and they would have to shorted the tube between them.

Sounds like the steering box wasnt centered when they adjusted the drag link and/or relay rod. Maybe they just centered the steering wheel.

Wouldn't be the first time.

If you look closely at the threads on the tie-rod ends, you can probably see where they 'adjusted' your toe in using your drag link. AAARGH!

Then you can spend time fixing what you paid someone else to f**k up.

The one and only time I let someone else try and set my toe in for me [my buddy who owned the local tire shop said he would put his "best man on it" for $20] I shook my head in disbelief as he started loosening the clamps on the draglink. I politely asked him how he thought that would change the distance between the tires.

Drag link.Bent or not adjusted in or out correctly.For future ref. If you're not sure of your wrench turner...find someone you trust.Worse case scenerio,spray that with rattle can and at least you have an idea of the problem and the tuner will know you're watching.
