Knuckle lube

Are the steering knuckles supposed to be lubed regularly? When I was a Rover guy, I had to service them about once a year with a 50-50 mix of 90wt gear oil and Lucas stabilizer (or the "One Shot" stuff from Land Rover).
I have read that Cruiser knuckles need special Mb grease. Is this something that can be put in (or topped off) like diff oil, of do I need to disassemble the whole housing to grease them like bearings?

It looks like there is a fill plug on the top at about the same place as on my Rover (Square-headed bolt on the top-rear of the housing). Is this the fill plug? Do I just squirt the Mb grease in there?

Thanks

Yes and Yes.

I just give about 3 squirts of molybdenum disulphide grease (however you spell it) in there every time I grease all the nipples/zerks (which is every 3000kms for me)

And if the grease in there starts looking a bit too dry - I apply a couple of little squiirts of gear oil with an oil can too
