Fuses for the Forty
My 40 blew a fuse then quit idling without the choke. When accelerating its always hesitated. We replaced the alternator tonight and the blown fuse with a 30 amp fuse and its running the best its ever run. Now the only problem is the fuse. The truck is currently at our toyota dealer. Can anyone give any guess whats wrong with the symptoms listed above?

AFAIK, there aren't any 30 amp circuits used on cruisers, so your are risking damaging your wiring. Chances are it was the "engine" fuse that blew, so it is either a problem with the voltage regulator/alternator, the idle fuel cut off solenoid or the emission control circuits.
