people who know power steering pumps help me.
was thinking about finally converting my 67 to power steering. looked around and realized i had a box from a minitruck laying around from an old straight axle truck that i had removed for high steer setup. anyways i also realize i had this pump laying around but i dont know what its from. it came with the fj in a box of parts and not sure if its from a toy or if they meant it for the chevy. let me know if you know what it is.

THe pump is good but are you sure that the mini truck steering box is up to it. IF you have big rubber and/or rock crawl it may not steer effectively.

I'd never slap a used pump on my rig, who knows what the internals look like & you don't wanna be stranded bcuz of it. What tire size you running? Saginaw would be a minimum choice, no weak & used mini setup.
