73 fuel tank
I am trying to put a stock 73 gas tank into a 60's body I have it mounted and am wondering if someone has some good pictures of how the tank is hooked up, i.e. the fuel lines. I guess what I am getting at is what tubes do what so I can plug off the ones that don't do any thing. I am trying to run my 307 with it.

I believe the 1973 tank does have the evapo emissions control hose fittings at the right rear corner of the tank (usually 3 fittings), You would not use the evapo system with your Chevy engine, consequently you would block-off all three hose fittings, then make sure you are using a vented gas cap. The only exception to this is if your Chevy engine is fuel injected and uses a return line back to the tank. In that case, use any one of the three return fittings (evapo lines) for the return, and block off the other two.

My engine is not fuel injected so that is ok. I figured that those three would be blocked off but there is on the driver side, side of the tank that I am unsure of and one at the bottom that I am assuming is where I need to plumb my gas.
