BJ 42 diesel parts
I am looking at buying a BJ 42 diesel LC. I will soon be based in California and this vehicle would be the first LC that I own in the States so do not have experience with part shopping and mechanics. Does anyone know whether it is difficult and expensive to get parts for the BJ42s? Thanks in advance

I have gotten all parts I have needed so far, some from Cdan ,some from canada etc.Diesel parts seem to be available but a little more $$ than fj parts, especially when you have to purchase from Canada.

Hi All:
Fortunately, there are several sources for "common" Canadian-spec diesel Land Cruisers in the USA. ![]() C-Dan is a great dealership resource; Spector Off Road probably has *everything* you might need but at a price! ![]() Also in California is a small shop called "West Coast Cruisers" which concentrates on the 70/75 Series, but they might be able to help you with the more 3B specific bits. Good luck! Alan |

Also a number of sources in Australia (and new zealand I am sure)
For more information on the diesel specific questions of the bus also have a look in the Diesel Tech and 24 volts Systems forum. |
