Any Advice For PS Pump Bracket on '74 F ?

Hi guys, I bought a PS conv. kit from SOR for my '74 FJ40, and have pre '80 saginaw box and pump. Any proven brackets for mounting pump on DE-SMOGGED F with no smog pump? All the after market brackets I see are for '75 2F's ????
Thanks Randy

Get Bill Dorry's pump mount. Good guy, good product, good price, good hardware(included!) good INSTRUCTIONS!

I think it is also a plus that it does NOT use the head bolts. It fastens to the motor mount....but opinions vary.

Classic Cruisers used to have a couple of solutions that mount the pump either to two head bolts or in place of the air pump and uses a reconditioned water pump double pulley eliminating the slipping issues with the narrow width GM belt.

I moved my alt to the passenger side on my 74 with a 78 alt mount and made a pump mount to fit the bracket under the air filter.

I used a Toyota pump but a GM pump should work.

I Like It !!!!

Thanks everyone, I like the idea of putting my ALT. where the smog pump used to be.
