what size tires

hey guys i took out my front axle to rebuild it and do SOA. but i got to thinking and looking some pics on here and wondering what size tiers some of you are running with stock axle spring under(what ever you call it) iam looking to put 35" under her. does any one run 35"s under there stock fj-40 if so give your advice and some pics. thanks guys/girls

For a SOA I would go with a 35 as a minimum. A 36 or 37 fills the wheel well much better. You can make a 35 fit SUA but you are going to be cutting some body or running some serious lift springs and longer shackles to not rub.

What year 40? I had 35's on mine with SOA and stock axles for years without a problem. I wouldn't go over 35's though with the stock axles.

Aure you can run 35" SUA. Take your front fenders off and cut the crap out of the rear quaters...
