I have a 75 fj40 with ambulance doors. I am thinking of ordering a top from Eshan. Does anybody have photos of the rear of their Eshan soft top made for a fj40 with ambulance doors?

I want to buy a soft top from Ehsan too. I have a 1970 fj40 with the short rear doors. I have emailed him and he says shipping is $440 (much cheaper if he can ship multiples). I am interested in gathering up orders if anyone else wants in on a reduced shipping cost. Any takers?

The orders take about 1 year to fill and depending on what you want the tops run about $1000. I have also been waiting for somebody to start a group order as I want a top for a project. It demands much patience and someone with good organizational skills to do it. I monitored the last order closely. I think some of the stuff was damaged when it arrived and Ehsani fixed it so it took a while longer.

Also the politics in the area are pretty difficult right now so hopefully nothing unexpected would happen during the order to prevent delivery.

The tops are sweet.

I would be interested also....I am in Nova Scotia, Canada. The only thing I have an issue with is it taking a least a year to get the product. I have looked at it for a while now and problems with the last order make me iffy. Why does it take a year anyways?

There being an east coast shipping point makes it more appealing though!!

It took so long last time because they we made to order. Ehsan had told me in October that they had some tops in stock and a new group order should take less time. Fjbj40 makes 12 people interested.

if we are going to do it we need to set a date when all orders go in no matter what. None of this getting an order together for 6 months. study the previous order threads and figure out what you want.

Put me down for:

1-Khaki Canvas top (1972 FJ40)
-with extra material for soft doors
-small quarter windows

Possibly a Bimini depending on updated prices.

So are you volunteering to head this order up? Whom ever is the shipping point needs to be the cash collector, remain in contact with Ehsan so purchasers can bitch and moan to him make the payments and then ship the tops out to the purchasers once they arrive here in the States. You up for it?

I am interested in a top and half doors as well. I have been trying to get in touch with Eshan for almost a week with no response. Perhaps the disruptions currently in his country will slow down the ordering process.

I'm pretty curious if someone has a answer to the question. Does a top from ehsan can fit anbulance door. I've been dreaming about a soft top but the rear doors has stoped me, since i would logicly need a tail gate, then reinstall the ambulance door when i get the hard top on again.

The hard ambulance doors won't work but you can still get the amulance door look with his top.

the tops are awesome and worth the wait. with ambulance doors, u remove the doors and put on a tailgate panel. mine is home made.

I would probably reccomend sticking with that order if you are across the border. Otherwise, whom ever heads the order in the states will have to deal with customs coming in and going out. WOuld be more of a pita for him/her. Waiting to hear if SouthBostonFJ is going to take this on
