I am considering it. I need to see how many tops there will be and then check to see how much warehouse space I have available at work. What are we up to... 15 interested parties? It might be cheaper to get a 20 foot cargo container and just load her up with tops and doors. Ehsan told me it costs about $3,400 and will hold 100+ tops and bows. Would that flood the market? The reduced shipping cost on each top is about $300, so at 11-12 tops, the container is paid for with room for a lot of other parts. Having said that, I have read horror stories on Mud about people being very unhappy with the quality of parts that arrived from Australia and the guy who organized the buy and paid for the container was left paying a lot of his own money to fix the issues. I am not open to doing that.

Anyone have any thoughts on the 20 footer idea?

I think the Ehsan order went ok last time. I think there was one situation for payment that was worked out and it was just a few dollars and one wrong order that Ehsan fixed. Ther big problem was that some of the stuff got wet or something in transit.

I would like to organize the group order. Colors available are black, Khaki, and green. I have been unable to get Ehsan to email me back for about two weeks. Local trouble in Islamabad me be an issue. Tops are $700. Shipping $440 (lower in quantity). Let's get an accurate head count of those who want to commit. I will place my paypay account infomation as soon as I hear from Ehsan (ie cost with say a dozen tops, etc). I agree we need to establish a deadline date... We can get rolling as soon as Ehsan replies.

If you do get a hold of Ehsan, find out if he still does the off-white vinyl.

Attached was the site that pportmud did for the last group buy. Ehsan should still have all those colors/options available.

https://global-ims.webexone.com/dbap...fclientInfo%3e

Click on "Enter as a guest" and then click the tab at the top "Ehsan's part Inc Catalog" Covers most of what he offers top and door wise.

No offense, but you have 3 posts and no one here knows who you are. No one is going to PayPal you $1,000 for a top until you've been around for a while. I think most others here will agree.

I would agree as well (even though I believe that this is now my third post). Also, I need current pricing on a soft top for a troop carrier. I know what the last prices were, but I think it would be best to wait until Ehsan replies and confirms current pricing.

It is closer to $900 and at least a 6 month wait.

If another group order is being put together, I am interested in a Black Vinyl Bimini top for my 40. Just the material, as I already have the bows and a complete top.

Like this, but black vinyl:

let's get an order going soon.

Hello
Apologies for being out of touch and contact for the last couple of weeks. I was busy in a specialization examination that I was taking.
Ok . Back to the topic. Colors available for 40 tops are
black, Tan , Grey and Off White in Vinyl
Black, Green and Khaki in canvas
Prices are the same whatever the material.
Situation in Pakistan: Things are back to normal here for some time now. The businesses are back up after a closure of 3-4 days. Everything is calm and there is no roiting or looting going on. Police is in control. I went to McDonnalds with my wife and 2 year old son last night and had a nice time.
Thanks
Ehsan

Glad to hear things are back to normal. Ehsan, I really like the bimini top but can something like my pic be added? If so would be interested in price for the black vinyl and associated hardware to mount the bimini. Thank you

Yes. These can be added. The hardware required will be the same as that for the whole top. I like the idea. If because of this design, 5 or more tops like this are ordered in your group, I will add a free Bikini top for the first each one. Complimentary..

Ehsan
