This is how it was not long after i got it about 11years ago, mainly used for camping touring etc...
![]() ![]() Then I joined 3rdRock4x4 club (no longer a member) and met a few nice people who encouraged me and I learned a lot from in terms of mods to do and driving style. So the truck got used more for fun but suffered a lot of panel damage which was part of the fun ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My first entry level comp where I came first in my class ![]() ![]()

I'll take you for a spin in a real Turbo soon
![]() BJ's lockers were a steal and he got easy terms on them, but soon learned they came at a price. The front is actually a Roberts Locker which ARB bought the rights to and has an external air cylinder to actuate it. The rear is a early 4 bolt ARB. Both are over 10 years old and fully operational. __________________ If the wife's not complaining your not spending enought time with your 40! 2F+3FE+T+I-3F=2F-ETI THE MULE @ 400hp max Est @ 15PSI DYNO'd at 8PSI 155kw/208hp and 650Nm/480ftlb @ the RW Links Sponsored by OZZIEWEBHOSTING Mac's Space

Its been a testing relationship today
, whilest replacing the tie rod ends and putting on my Angry tyres the left hand front hub was moving around way to much, turned out that the bottom Knucle bearing had colapsed and also chewed out the part it sits on. SO its sitting in the naughty corner now.BJ |

Hi All:
Thanks for the great "ROTW" photos! ![]() Like your custom rear swing-out half-door! So, what happened to the ARB bull bar featured in the early photos of the rig? Did you not like how large it was? Regards, Alan |

Love the sound of that diesel. Your rig is one of my favorites. Outstanding work and thanks for posting those videos.

I like that style of top too but it does have it's draw back when it comes to loading up for camping. BJ, however many parts you borrow your always welcome here, also you maybe needing this. FJ40_LOCKED_N_LOADED/Front Hub Assembley - Photobucket - Video and I |
