Random picture from Pakistan. Continuing thread
Jsut thought I would start a thread here similar to the one I have at Pirate.
http://pirate4x4.com/forum/showthrea...wpost&t=469236 (with different pictures ofcoarse)
I would keep updating this thread regularly as long as it interests the readers.
I would start with a picture I took the day before of a metal fender flare being built for a 40 series.

metal fender flare, cool Idea. Looks like it is made for the stock wheel well. What about one for after we cut up our outer skirt, to fit bigger tires, or would the one you are making work?
Many people seem to like the flares for the TJs (is this right?). Maybe some one could give you some mesurments.

I would need a few measurements for the cut out fenders. These flares are made at custom width. They can be 1" to 6" wide or more even. . I will have some more pics soon.

ehsankiani, was that your shop that was shown in the background of the most recent Toyota Trails article regaling the travel tales of the dutch couple? It showed a bearded gent admiring their doorless cruiser, with a pink cruiser in the background.

I love the jack stands.
I was at Advance Auto Parts this morning and they had a pair of 6,000 lb jack stands for $17.00. We should send some over to Pakistan so no one gets hurt and the flow of inexpensive alternative parts isn't interupted.

Hi All:
"Ehsan," just want to say that I really enjoy the photos you post of the automotive workshops in Pakistan.
Your work crews do amazing stuff with time, discipline, and hand tools!
Looking at all those 40, 45, 47 Series rigs being re-built is just too cool! Keep it up!
Regards,
Alan

Very cool. One of my friends is from Islamabad, and once the political situation cools down both inside and outside, I'm going to visit with him. Looks very interesting.
I too am amazed what you guys can accomplish with simple tooling and a ton of time.
Keep the pics coming.
