I paid $2,500 for my '78 back in 2001. Added a 4" suspension lift and wheeled the snot out of it. Maybe you can help me understand what I was thinking when I bought it.

Hi All:
Nice rig, "TreeRoot!" So, what is a "snackster" and a "hotdogger?" Is that rig actually a 4wd "roach coach" for trail runs? Thanks for sharing! Alan ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote:

The 30 splines are for FJ60 axles Not that I am aware of. I do know that I ran a washer through the #1cylinder. I replaced the spark plug and she keeps on running. Oil needs to be straight 50 weight or she smokes. Quote:
I hammered out the dents so it pretty much looks like my rockers now The hot dogger is on the headers, the snackster (Nakman's creation) is bolted to the valve cover. In the 2nd pic I was cooking corndogs and the mice found them when we were stopped for a bit. __________________ aka Mike D.----->Bio Page "Its better to be thought a fool rather than to speak up and remove all doubt." - Lincoln Workin' on pimpin' the 80... www.root45.com www.risingsun4x4club.org TLCA #14133 |
