I'm pulling my header and exhaust pipe and the bolt that holds the mount in the middle (under the driver seat) is old and seized.. I'm thinking about cutting it off with my roto-zip.. are there any safety issues here?
Also, i have a new header gasket, should i be using some type of sealant between the new header & gasket?

As to the first question I do not know. The header gasket does NOT take any sealent. I had to put 2 gaskets to stop my air leaks and it has worked flawlessly. I used Toyota parts. Do a search on exhaust gaskets and there is a lot of info. They helped me out.
