Tire; Narrow; BFG

[FONT="Franklin Gothic Medium"]What size tires do I need to fit my 15x8 inch wheels? I'm looking for the narrow look on my FJ40; with the BFG tread. Any good pointers in this direction?

The 33x10.50 fits & handles good on a 15x8.

I've seen a 33x9.50 on a 15x8 and it looked very funny, tread looked narrower than bead area.

Check the BFG website for recommended rim widths for tire sizes.

I just bought a set of BFG All Terrain T/A KO from Discount Tire with their "discount tire direct" price, $146 per tire, plus $20 for mounting / balancing.

I agree with FJ40 Jim. I've got 33x10.50's on 8" rims and think they seat nicely. I've seen 33x9.50's on 8" and they don't seem right. Plus if you do any wheelin, you really don't have any sidewall with the 9.50's on 8" rim, could lead to some rim troubles.
