My new Toy has a new home

I drove my new Toy home the other day. It needs some engine work and some of the B.S. accesories need to be attended to, but I think it's going to be a good foundation for my new lifelong project.
I don't plan on doing any hardcore wheeling with it, just cruising around the old logging roads in my area. One of the first things I need to do is get a bench seat and 3 point belts in the back so my 2 boys and their car seats have a place to sit. They are going to get a kick out of the ride with no top or doors.
It's nice to have the hard part out of the way; finding a Cruiser that's not a bodywork nightmare. Now the fun part begins, feeding my new addiction. But it's going to take away from another addiction I have, that's sitting in front of this computer on IH8MUD.

I just got done reading your ROTW thread Cam, and I have a similar story. My old man bought a Cruiser brand new in '69 that I grew up with. When I asked him if he was willing to part with it, he said it was going to be his retirement project.

Nice looking cruiser! And you're right, the kids will LOVE riding in the back with no top on. I know my grand-daughters do. Have fun with your new addiction!

Yea, it's a '78. And there is a winch behind that burly bumper. I wasn't to sure about the bumper at first, but it's been growing on me.
