So im running a chevy 4l60e tranny to my stock 3 speed t-case using an advance adapters kit. has anyone had as much trouble as me with this? how did it work out for you as well? and did anyone find better installation instructions?
I am doing that conversion right now and have not been happy with anything AA sent me. The engine mount holes were night quite lined up, the tranny crossmember holes were not even CLOSE to lined up. about half the hardware was wrong, and the reluctor ring is too big for the output shaft (unless I switch to their output shaft rather than cutting mine). And, as you said.... their instructions are minimal at best.
yeah i was going to say did you end up cutting your output shaft? i wouldnt even know how to do that without hacking the crap out of it..and i totally agree with you on how nothing really lines up just right.
