If all the new rubber lines you put in are "fuel hose" and not generic rubber hose I would contact the vendor / manufacturer about a possible defective product. The only other thing I can think of is you bought gas that was contaminated with whatever the "coffee grind" crap is.

they are all fuel line grade hoses, I have bought a different brand that I was going to install tonight along with new filters... if it is the hose then why is there more junk in the first filter, less in the second filter... and hardly any in the third... seems the longest hose run would have the most junk in it... so that should be #2... I got a brand new white bucket... we will see what is in the gas tank in about 1 hour... I got about a quarter of a tank in there now...
cant be gas... it has gone through 4-5 tanks of gas and from at least 2 different stations..

How long was your tank stored before you filled it up the first time?

It's hard to believe that "coffee ground" size dirt is getting through one filter, then another, etc. I think you're on to someting with the rubber hoses.
Pull one of those off and split it with a blade. What does the inside look like? I wouldnt' be surprised if its deteriorating.
Do you have ethanol in the gas in your area?

You will know if it is the tank when you drain the fuel. If it is clean then it is the hoses for sure.

Last night I spent a lot of time working on fuel lines…. I drained all the old gas and there was some “coffee grounds” shit in it…. Not tons but some… I ran all new rubber lines, changed all filters and also bent up hard steel lines to go from the tank to below the tub. I have had problems before with the gas lines kinking so since I was here I bent all them up… pretty basic just some 90 degree bends. I am going to drain the tank again before the end of the summer… at least once maybe more…. Run some more gas through it and next time I am close to empty I will drain it again…
Since I had it on the lift I changed the oil and filter also… about 700 or so miles on that oil, since I only changed once after break in I only really wanted to do 500 on that second oil, but it was still so clean I ran it, probably did not need at all to be changed even now, but now I will to on regular oil change intervals.
Got some gas and took it for a ride, no problems last night… did not miss a beat… I am heading north this weekend for my family reunion… depending on the LC to make it all weekend as I am taking it up there…. Pretty excited… it will be my first only LC weekend where it HAS to work to get me home… Steve is in the area… did not get to see him last night or probably not tonight since I am leaving right after work, but him and supposedly Teddy and maybe even pete and their jeeps are going to meet up at my cabin from breakfast with my family tomorrow… so who knows what kind of trouble we could get ourselves in…..
Have a nice weekend…..
Sorry no pics… my dad borrowed my 4runner and camera is in there… bastard!!!

I just don’t really know what happened… glad I did not get hurt, minus a few bad bruises. The LC is not banged up so it could have been a lot worse….
