| York 2F bracket From this thread- ARB ?
Here are pics of the york bracket on the '79 FJ40 (soon to be back in the Brimmer family). I will take more when I replace the pump- started spewing oil on the last run.
everything in line-
another-
best i could get of the entire bracket.. it is 1 piece that bolts to the head and the york and alt bolt to it
mounting bolts hiding down in there
alt tensioner bracket
another shows attachment to bracket
overall layout (believe it or not I've cleaned up the worse mess that was in there)
manifold shot
another, better angle |

| Doesn't appear to be much belt contact with the compressor pulley, Don't think that would maintain in a A/C application tho. Maybe pumping air has less of a load factor than A/C..

| That looks an aweful lot like the mount I have been running for a few years that cam from www.kccruisers.com...
It doesn't look much like the dealer install York brackets I have seen...
And yes that is enough belt contact to pump 160 psi on my setup...

| Good eye, Peter! I needed to take pics anyays because Henry is buying it back and I wanted to do this on my BJ42 buildup.
BTW, Henry has generally poor recollection for specifics like that or I would have asked. |

| Do you think you could get a close up of how the tensioner attaches to the york mount? Looks easy enough to fabricate. Thanks! |

Thanks! | Appears to be a stock alternator-tensioning bracket attached to the new mount by a bolt, similar to how it was attached on the original alternator-mounting bracket.

| Hey Ken if you bring that bracket over to Metal Tech i'm sure we could get the laser cutter to reproduce it.

| That bracket was manufactured by Mudrak and still is AFAIK. Cost around $175 back when I did my York conversion on my 2f. Go here and read my writeup I did many years ago. Well not a whole lot of years, maybe 5?

| Second that Bill. Kelly O' Conner brought his 40 in a while back with the York mount on it; said he got it from Mudrak. I don't know if he 'invented' it, but I'm pretty sure he's offering them, and he's a good guy to work with.
