| Showing my ignorance Never have claimed to be real bright ....but will a vaccume advanced dizzy with a pertronix gizmo out of a 73 1F fit a 78 2f no smog with a webber?....and is a distributor hard to rebuild if gears are not worn...or...is it even worth the time....just for the learnin factor?....

| I'll show you mine if you show me yours...
I'm pretty positive it will fit. I ran that same dizzy setup on a late F then moved it to a 2F no problem. Think my 2F block is a '76 or '77. No idea what a Weber has or needs. |

| Hey Pighead thanks for the reply...Is there any advantage to keeping the 78 dizzy over the earlier model 1f?...the 1f has only 10,000 miles on it and the 2f has 94,000 miles. ....Where can you find the electronics for replcement?
