Any holster that has retention straps will have difficulty with a hammer shroud. It's best to stick with the regular models and bob the hammer if needed. My AirLite has the standard hammer and I've carried it for many years (ankle and waist) and have never had a porblem.

I don't anticipate having any kind of retention/thumb break for this one's holster. My IWB holster for mine is open top, works good for me.
