Apples and oranges comparison; left-foot braking is a technique to divert power to a tractive wheel on an open diff, whereas the Lefty transfer case just gives you a much higher crawl ratio (almost double that of stock in my case). You can still left-foot brake with Lefty, or lock up your diffs too if you'd rather. The big advantage to Lefty is the control - much less throttle or braking required on any obstacle, you just crawl up or down.
