So far, we have 14 vehicles signed up. Come out and enjoy Arizona Fall weather.

This run starts at the Lake Pleasant turnoff and is about 28 miles to Crown King. The trail changes in difficulty every time it rains. Recent details on the trail state it is more difficult than normal. So we are rating the trail as a 3 in difficulty. Lockers are not needed. There are only a few areas that could pose a problem, if we have someone that can not get passed this area a quick tug of a strap gets you over. Off road tires are preferred. There are sections that have jagged rocks and highway tires can get a beating. Usually the sidewalls are the weak point. This trail is a legend with many mines with lots of history. The trail climbs into the mountains with many incredible views of the Bradshaw mountains. Make sure you rig is ready and checked out. Oil, water, tire pressure, spare tire and most of all good tires. Bring lots of water and food to eat. With no problems on the trail it usually takes about 5 hours to get to Crown King. Normally we stop at the restaurant and eat but they are having a golf tournament that day and it will be packed.

Meeting place is the Chevron station at I17 and Carefree highway at 6:30 am to meet leaving the station at 7 am . We need to be ahead of the
crowd. Arrival time at the Lake Pleasant turn off 7:30 latest. We air down there and leave. That should not take us any more than 20
minutes to air down a move.

If you would like to attend please email the entire club and I will add you
to the list.

If you are not sure and have no time to email me then call me at 602-206-4776.

CB and GMRS radios will be used. If you do not have a CB we have spare GMRS
radios to keep you up to date on the trail.

If you decide at the last minute to go, then just show up.

We like to know how many rigs we will have, but that is not a problem if you just show up.

Remember to be safe and take any medications with you in case you end up spending more time than you expected.
