My oil pressure gauge quit, checked the OPSU, and it's case had corroded through while hidden under the rubber boot. No biggy. Ordered another one from Kurt along with some other stuff.
Problem is, my gauge doesn't work after the new one found it's new home.
I get 12.3v at the wire terminal, (about a .3v drop from batt voltage) and the gauge pegs high when wire grounded. The OPSU is grounded properly, as I have continuity between the case and the neg batt terminal.
My questions are; How do I test this brand new OPSU before ruling it DOA, and is there something obvious I'm overlooking. I know very well I could install a mech gauge, just looking to get the stocker working for now.
