This description was clear. I'm not too keen on dangling wires so I will pass on this variant.
I am frequently under the DS seat messing around with my ham radio so I was thinking this might be a simple project next time I am in there. I will probably do as George did and run the antenna extension up to the headrest as I also have covers over the seat and an external speaker for the ham radio is mounted on the headrest.
