Somebody please explain!
I understand that this has been measured on the wheels, but is 50% of the power lost in the drivetrain?
Will this testresult also vary with wheel-diameter?
Roller dynos are very sensitive to tyre size, pressure and tread, 50% is high but not unheard of.
Hub pack dynos take the tyres out of the equation, but they aren't as common.

Wheel diameter will change the gearing, but the power curve should come out similar. I say should because it'd be hard to change the wheel diameter without changing the tyre tread and that will have an impact too.
