hey look on the bright side, because it was a diesel you still have your rig! Considering they bothered to put fuel in it they probably were intending to take it farther... maybe to burn it. Also, it should be pretty easy to figure out which gas station they went to (the closest one!)... maybe if you can look at their security tapes you can at least find out what they look like.
