My 1992 HDJ81 was stolen. It has been recovered but the thieves put gas in the 1hd-t diesel tank and i don't know how far they drove on the gas or if it was straight gas or gas /diesel mix. Also some front end damage but right now my major concern is the engine, injector pump and injectors. What should I do?

1. drain the tank , fill with diesel, and run the engine.
2. bring it in and have a shop drain and purge the whole fuel system.

Has anyone had this type of problem on a 1hd-t and what damage did it do.
