Allright then, I have a 75 FJ40 with the stock F2 or whatever, and it's got hedders on it, original cam etc... yadda yadda nothing special...
I bought a Webber 2V from one of mud's members and for $75 bucks I got a great deal. The carb is fairly new, but the guy used it like a trooper and there was sand in every orifice in the carb.
So I am rebuilding this carb and I CANNOT find a kit or carb # to get a PROPER kit for it :( :(
Got one kit from Car Quest and there are only 5 Damn pieces in it!
2 gaskets , one diaphragm, one needle and seat set adn a little o-ring...
WTHF is that all about? I need the 3 fingered diaphragm also but nobody in this damn town even know's what the hell a friggin Webber is... Should I got buy a ford PINTO carb kit or go to the Local German car shop?
There are some #'s on this but nothing any of the fuctards I called could get anything from them. :(
So folks, What is a guy to do?
Also the Secondary Venturi set screw has the blade fully closed, shouldn't there be some secondary exposed to assist the A/F screw in metering the Idle controll?
I am not carb retarded, but on a Webber I can be considered so for this job.
