Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Tennessee
Its one of my favorite places in the states. It offers fantastic scenery of the mountains and wildlife, great hiking and camping, tubing and white water rafting. A fantastic place to spend time with the family. If your crew likes the outlet malls, discount tool-shops, go carts and amusement parks they have that as well. Dollywood is the biggest in what was once a Silver Dollar City she bought it years ago and put people to work in her home town. The kids always love to spend time there. She also owns other places that entertain as well. Knoxville is only 25 min away and is a beautiful city built on the river with the Smoky's in the background. Gatlinburg is 10 min away and is a great place to spend time as well. If you're thinking of getting away and checking out a new place I highly recommend you checking it out. If you are on a budget I can help plan a great but inexpensive time there away from the tourist traps. A few of my pics with the kids.
