There is no torque spec on the pinion nut. It's an adjustment, the nut is tightened until the preload/rolling drag on the pinion bearings is correct. The tension is maintained by a crush sleeve that is between the bearings. That sleeve is single use, so the only way to correctly do it is to take it apart, replace the sleeve and set it up properly.
