Took my first pig about a month ago down in GA. We used the dogs to bay the pig...then let loose a catch dog to control the "business" end. While the catch dog has that end...another guys rushes around and takes the back legs. Break loose the catch dog and leash the bay dogs. Now what...?? Time to go in with a blade, just behind the shoulder blade. The pig is down in about 5 secs, literally. Its the quickest way. Also you need to understand that these things live in the swap...in brush so thick you cant see them if they were 2 feet away in some places. I would love to have a comfortable shot with a rifle...but thats not gonna happen here!

Mine was 225pds, all black, small cutters though. Caped him out and will mount, 99% of Taxi's dont mount original cutters anyway, so I may go with a little larger ones for the mount.

I do carry a .45 loaded with 265gr chunks, and a compressed load for personal protection.

Sweet pics man...awesome country...
